The connection machine provided AI new energy and is mainly used for supercomputers, also known as the Thinking Machine. It was developed to design applications related to symbolic processing and AI. Hills and colleagues wanted to arrange thousands of nodes with microprocessors to work parallel. LISP language was used to write instructions for the parallel mechanisms.
