Stanford Cart With Radio Links By Paul W. Braisted

Braisted added an analog computer to enhance the control of the cart. This analog computer operated as a predictor to assist in steering commands. A dot is displayed on the TV screen to provide information about the predicted location towards the device that is about to move. The controllability of the vehicle is five mph (8 kph). The Stanford cart with radio links can’t avoid the hitting of an obstacle if there is a greater traveling delay than the distance point from the cart location to that obstacle. Get more information
